As 2024 draws to a close, we can’t help but look back on an incredible year for PetRock. This year has been nothing short of groovy, filled with milestones, new beginnings, and unforgettable performances.

One of the biggest highlights of 2024 was our annual Holiday Spectacular Weekend at the Slowdown in Omaha. Over two nights, we played to packed houses, sharing the magic of 70s music with our amazing fans, the Pebbles. The energy in the room was electric, and those shows were a perfect way to cap off the year. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us—you made it truly outta sight.

This year, we also saw some exciting additions to our band. First, we welcomed the incredible JJ Cruise as our new lead singer. JJ’s dynamic vocal range has opened up new possibilities, allowing us to tackle songs we’ve always dreamed of performing. Joining JJ, we were stoked to add Shandy Tuskadarro as our new female vocalist. Her soulful voice and undeniable stage presence have added richness and depth to our sound. Rounding out our new additions is El Tiempo on percussion, whose righteous rhythms have infused our music with an irresistible groove that keeps everyone dancing.

These new members have transformed our band and made 2024 a landmark year. Together, we’ve expanded our setlist, refined our sound, and brought the spirit of the 70s to life like never before.

As we look ahead, 2025 is shaping up to be our biggest year yet. We’re kicking things off with a special Valentine’s show at the Astro Theater that promises to be a night to remember. Later in the year, we’ll be heading back to Okoboji, Iowa, for a Fourth of July celebration that’s sure to be totally rad. These are just the first of many exciting events in store, and we can’t wait to share them with you.
