As the final notes of the year fade out, we can’t help but look back and shake our heads (in a good way). This year was one for the PetRock history books — packed rooms, massive outdoor crowds, unforgettable weekends, and a whole lot of shared groove. If you were with us for any part of the ride, thank you. If you missed a few shows… well, we’ve got some things planned.
One of the most jaw-dropping moments of the year came in Okoboji on July 4th. Playing to a reported 12,000 people was surreal in every sense of the word. The energy, the sing-alongs, the sea of people dancing and smiling — it was the kind of night that reminds us why we do this. Standing on that stage, watching thousands of people move together to the music we love, is something we’ll never forget.
Closer to home, we capped the year with one of our proudest traditions: the 9th Annual Holiday Spectacular Weekend at Slowdown. Two nights. Two different set lists. A packed room both nights. What started nearly a decade ago as a fun seasonal idea has turned into something truly special, and this year may have been our favorite yet. The crowd brought the spirit, the outfits were on point, and the vibes were immaculate. Slowdown once again proved to be the perfect place to close out the year with our PetRock family.
And the best part? We’re just getting started.
Looking ahead, 2026 is already shaping up to be something big. We’re thrilled to announce a Valentine’s Day show at The Astro, which is going to be equal parts romantic, funky, and loud in all the right ways. Beyond that, we’re hard at work adding new songs to the set list, dusting off some surprises, and dreaming up fresh ways to keep every PetRock show feeling like an event — not just a concert.
To everyone who came out, brought friends, wore the sweaters, sang every word, and supported us this year: thank you. You are the reason these moments happen.
Here’s to bigger stages, deeper grooves, and plenty of surprises ahead. We’ll see you in 2026.
